Photography @ Camino de Santiago

In September 2024, I walked the Camino de Santiago — not only as a physical journey, but as a mindful retreat through landscapes, light, and fleeting human encounters. "Caminho" is a photographic journal of that pilgrimage: a visual story told in dust, sky, rhythm, and reflection. From the golden plains of Castile to the misty woods of Galicia, the series blends travel photography with documentary intimacy — capturing fellow pilgrims, rural textures, sacred architecture, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments along the trail. More than a travelogue, this is a study in stillness-in-motion: how walking long distances sharpens the eye, softens the ego, and opens space for presence. Each photo is a step; each frame, a small pause.
